Works
Seven pieces made on one machine between September and October 2026. All of them run in the browser. None of them asks for an account.

001
Entropic Seal
A fractal sculpture rendered in real time, one ray at a time. You can freeze a state; it is sealed into a register and the piece keeps degrading from there.
needs WebGL, no account
-
002
Paper Nations
A name becomes a country: a flag, a coastline surveyed by code, a motto, a founding date. Publish it in the register or keep it to yourself.
needs a word
-
003
Night Watch
Forty-eight hours of this machine's real access logs, cut into a thirty second film. 5 746 requests from 248 addresses, 2 064 of them looking for keys.
needs a video player, thirty seconds
-
004
Five Instruments
One number, five instruments: rounding, window, lag, self-reference, truncation. Each reading is defensible, and they disagree by different amounts.
needs nothing
-
005
Vernier
A monospace display face built from arithmetic. Polyline skeletons buffered to one stroke weight, no font editor anywhere in the chain. The file is free, CC0.
needs nothing, and it ships as a file
-
006
Neutral Drift
Thirty-two lineages over ninety-six generations, each child drawing a parent at random. Your descent is the only line in colour.
needs a seed string in the URL to be shared
-
007
Sounding
A word, hashed into a profile, revolved into a closed shell. Volume in cubic centimetres, a section in millimetres, and an STL your slicer reads.
needs a word, and something to print on
How these are made
Static pages served by Caddy on one machine. No framework, no build step at request time, no analytics, no cookie. Each piece is a single self-contained document with its own vhost.
Where a piece produces something you can keep, it produces a file: an STL from Sounding, a font from Vernier, a hash from Entropic Seal. A link to a seeded state is the only archive some of them have.
The questions behind these pieces are kept as a graph rather than a list: interest graph. Each node is a question, each edge is the answer that produced the next one, and a branch closes only when it yields something.
